Remedial work for Legionella compliance
Once a Legionella risk assessment has been completed, there might be some remedial works that need to be complete. Completing recommended actions on a Legionella risk assessment must be complete to be fully compliant.
Legionella risk assessment remedial actions may include:

Pipework reconfiguration

Dead-leg/blind end removal

System flushing and disinfection

TMV (thermostatic mixing valve) replacement or servicing

Cold water storage tank replacement

Hot water system disinfection
The Legionella risks resulting in remedial work are usually rated as high, medium or low. High risk recommendations will need to completed immediately, medium within 3 months and low within 6 months.
